Being Silly

My mother pointed out there are very few pictures of me on my blog so far. Most of the pictures of me capture me and Jessica engaging in very silly behavior. A couple of examples:

Here, Jess and I stumbled across a tiny street (as indicated by the name, Vicolo) in Trastevere. It was pouring rain, we were on our way to a lecture about Roman triumph parades and arches, but we stopped to illustrate just how small this street really is.

Apparently, doing silly poses in the streets is becoming something of a habit for us. Below, a stencil in a side street in Firenze (Florence) where someone has stenciled the Monty Python walk. Mark was kind enough to snap the pictures, and Jess and I happily assumed silly poses.

Ultimately, we end up cracking up Mia a lot. Here she is, laughing so hard that she was no longer making a sound :)
